How do I place an order with Star Jasmine Studio?

Ordering with us should be pretty straightforward. If you are ordering samples, simply add the samples of fabrics you want to buy to your basket, complete the checkout process and they will be shipped to you within 3-5 business days. 

For dresses, find the product you like, then simply complete each text box with the required measurement so that your dress can be made to order. We have a field for the Bridesmaids' names so that the dresses can be identified once they are received by you. 

Can I have my Bridesmaid Dresses sent to different addresses?

Yes this is possible, however this will mean a postage charge must be applied to each individual address. If you wish to go ahead with this, you can get in touch with us once your order is placed, we will invoice for the delivery for each new address and update the order details before making your order. 

How long will my dresses take? 

All dresses are made to order are usually processed in 1-2 weeks. On the rare chance that there is a problem or delay with your order, such as fabric being out of stock, we will always let you know and give you the option to cancel your order if we cannot deliver in time. 

Please note we cannot rush orders through as we work to a rolling turnaround and complete orders in the order which they are received. If you wish to delay your order once it is placed please let us know as soon as possible as we try to keep our turnaround times down, usually your order will be in production within 48 hours of the order being placed. 

Do you accept returns?

All designs on our website are made to-order, meaning we order in fabric specifically to allocate to each individual order, before cutting and making them to your custom measurements. Due to this, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on our items as they fall under the category of personalised goods, under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

I need an alteration?

We are able to offer a wide variety of alterations, most of which are free of charge, should an item not be suitable. If you require this service, please get in touch.

What if the product is faulty?

In the rare case a faulty or incorrect item is received, we would offer repair, replacement or a refund on the item. We reserve the right to refuse a return if we have reason to believe the fault occurred deliberately or if the item has been worn. 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, a refund will be offered if an order is cancelled within 48 hours of being placed prior to the order going into production. If you need to cancel an order you should contact us at your earliest convenience. 

If the order has gone into production, you may still be able to cancel, however we reserve the right to withhold funds allocated to buying fabric and any work that has commenced. 

How do I measure myself/my bridesmaids?
  • To find your BUST measurement: Wrap the tape measure all the way around your back and over the fullest area of your bust to find the fullest circumference. 
  • To find your WAIST measurement: Wrap the tape measure all the way around your waistline where you are naturally narrowest 
  •  To find your HIPS measurement: Wrap the tape measure all the way around your lower hips/bum where you are naturally widest
  • To find your WAIST TO FLOOR measurement: Stand tall, while wearing a heel of the same height you intend to wear, hold the tape measure at your waistline and measure down to the floor to find your desired length (you will need assistance)

Do you ship worldwide?

We ship worldwide using Royal Mail International tracked& signed delivery. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for international orders. 

 

Will I have to pay international tax & duties?

Unfortunately we cannot control and are not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

 By law, we must declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease international custom fees.

What if I decide I don't like what I ordered when I receive it? 
We understand that ordering online without trying on/seeing it in person first can be very daunting. We offer a fabric sample service so that you are able to see our fabric before committing to an order. In the event that the style you ordered and received is not to your taste, we can rework your design for you. If no extra fabric is needed this will be free of charge, if the rework requires more fabric then there will be a small fee.
